Starbucks, Visa and Sacombank are joining forces to host “Siren Calling,” a major open-air music event at the Saigon Riverside Park on August 2.

Starbucks, Visa and Sacombank are joining forces to host “Siren Calling,” a major open-air music event at the Saigon Riverside Park on August 2.

The concert is expected to attract around 12,000 attendees, offering a vibrant experience for young audiences who love new experiences, open-air settings and live outdoor shows.

Inspired by the mythical siren, a symbol of freedom, allure and vitality, the event promises a powerful lineup of performances.

It will feature EDM (electronic dance music) sets, V-pop hits and surprise guest appearances.

Besides the music, audiences can also look forward to a visual spectacle, including water effects, fireworks, LED displays, and a drone light show over the river.

Although the full list of performers has yet to be announced, early teasers have already generated excitement, with rumours circulating about a popular Gen Z rapper, known for viral hits and a strong digital presence, possibly taking the stage.

This anticipation has sparked a rush among fans to secure tickets.

To celebrate the event Sacombank is offering a special promotion: Customers who open a Sacombank Visa credit card (Platinum or higher) and spend at least VNĐ1 million will receive one free concert ticket. The offer is limited to the first 2,000 eligible customers in HCM City.

Cardholders will also receive an exclusive gift set comprising a bandana, fan and custom-designed backpack, and gain access to the Sacombank booth at the event, where they can enjoy mini-games, giveaways and interactive activities.

More than just a music show, Siren Calling is envisioned as a modern urban festival to foster creative engagement between artists, brands and young audiences and spotlight the growing collaboration between the finance and entertainment industries.

Sacombank is also running a nationwide summer promotion titled “Rực rỡ Hè Xanh – Quà sang bất tận” from July 1 to September 30.

Retail customers who open accounts, make deposits, use credit cards, apply for loans, buy insurance, or transact via Sacombank Pay will be eligible to enter a lucky draw with prizes worth VNĐ5.3 billion (US$202,692).

The prizes include a VinFast VF9 Eco, VNĐ100 million travel vouchers, business class air tickets, eVouchers, and more.

Customers can also enjoy discounts of up to 30 per cent on shopping, dining, travel, and entertainment, along with Got It eVouchers worth up to VNĐ300,000.
