The 2025 Ninh Thuận Product Promotion and Business Connection Week opened in HCM City on June 13, featuring more than 20 outstanding businesses, cooperatives, and production establishments from the province.

Organised by the Ninh Thuận Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre (ITTC Ninh Thuan) in collaboration with the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of HCM City (ITPC), the event aims to promote the province’s image, strengths, and key products to the business community, distributors, retail systems, and consumers in HCM City.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyễn Anh Minh, deputy director of the ITTC Ninh Thuan, said participating units are showcasing hundreds of diverse, locally distinctive products. These include grapes, apples, garlic, traditional fish sauce, bird’s nest, medicinal herbs, processed agricultural goods, OCOP products rated three stars or higher, handicrafts, and a wide range of innovative, eco-friendly items.

“All products have been carefully developed in terms of quality, design, and traceability to meet the growing demands of the modern market.”

The programme provides an excellent opportunity for the provincial enterprises to access the country’s most dynamic consumption market, he said.

Alongside the product exhibition, the event features supply-demand matching sessions, direct meetings with retail distributors and supermarket chains, market surveys, and promotion of the province’s investment environment and tourism potential.

The province has more than 270 OCOP certified products rated three stars or higher, including 42 four-star products.

“These figures reflect the consistent efforts of local producers to improve product quality, design, and competitiveness. The province also prioritises the development of specialty goods and actively supports small- and medium-sized enterprises in fostering innovation and building brands,” he added.

Trần Phú Lữ, director of ITPC, highlighted that Ninh Thuận is a land of immense potential, especially in trade, investment, and tourism. However, cooperation between HCM City and the province remains largely untapped.

Amid growing challenges for businesses to export, especially due to US reciprocal tariffs, “effectively tapping into the domestic market of 100 million people has become critically important,” he said.

This product promotion week represents “a concrete, practical effort to realise trade promotion commitments between the two localities, while helping Ninh Thuận enterprises expand their reach in the domestic market,” he said.

The event is being held at the Export Showroom at 92-96 Nguyễn Huệ Street in District 1 until June 19.
