KiotViet launches programme to ease e-invoice switch for small businesses

KiotViet, a top POS provider, has launched a nationwide drive to help small businesses adopt e-invoices via cash registers, supporting the Government’s digital tax push.

The country’s leading point-of-sale solution provider, KiotViet, has announced a nationwide initiative to support small- and micro-businesses in adopting e-invoices generated from cash registers following the Government’s recent push for digital tax compliance.

It is offering a 30 per cent discount on its sales management software, allowing merchants to access the system for as little as VNĐ6,000 per day (US$0.23).

Besides, they benefit from free e-invoice and digital signature services under an earlier policy it announced last month.

“We are committed to empowering small businesses to comply with regulations while building a sustainable digital foundation,” a KiotViet spokesperson said.

“This is about more than just cost reduction – it’s about making digital transformation accessible.”

The company is also deploying over 1,500 advisors and support staffs across Việt Nam to provide on-site and online assistance, helping merchants understand new regulations, install software and operate e-invoice-enabled cash register systems.

KiotViet’s cloud-based POS platform features essential components such as sales tracking, inventory control, e-invoice issuance, logistics integration, and payment gateways (Napas, VietQR, Visa, and Mastercard), making it an all-in-one solution for both physical and online retail.

It has the most widely used POS software in Việt Nam, with over 300,000 users, including household businesses, individual retailers, micro- and small-sized enterprises.

The platform offers sales management solutions for various sectors, including retail, F&B, beauty and lodging, and supports e-commerce sales through integration with delivery providers and digital marketplaces.
