VCBNeo launches new brand identity and NeoOne digital banking app

The rebranding follows the bank’s formal transfer to Vietcombank and reflects its new positioning as a technology-driven bank serving a broader range of customers, particularly those new to banking.

VCBNeo Digital Technology Commercial Bank Limited, formerly known as the Construction Bank, officially introduced its new brand identity and digital banking app NeoOne in Hà Nội on Friday, marking a significant step in its integration into Vietcombank’s digital ecosystem.

The rebranding follows the bank’s formal transfer to Vietcombank and reflects its new positioning as a technology-driven bank serving a broader range of customers, particularly those new to banking. With the slogan 'Digital for All', VCBNeo’s new logo incorporates Vietcombank’s signature green, reinforcing its role as part of one of Việt Nam’s leading financial institutions. The term Neo stands for New Electronic Omnichannel, underscoring the bank’s commitment to innovation and seamless, multichannel services.

Alongside the new identity, VCBNeo unveiled NeoOne — a completely redesigned digital banking app developed in just five months. The app, available on both iOS and Android, replaces the bank’s previous CBway app and offers a suite of financial services including 24/7 transfers, QR payments, online savings accounts and personal finance management. More features are expected in future updates.

A VCBNeo representative said the successful development of the app and overhaul of the bank’s core banking and IT systems — a process that normally takes up to three years — was completed in less than six months, thanks to strong support from Vietcombank’s experienced personnel.

All 92 VCBNeo branches nationwide have also been upgraded to align with the new brand identity, combining physical service points with enhanced digital integration. This hybrid approach aims to deliver a more seamless and modern banking experience to customers.

At the launch event, senior leaders from Vietcombank and VCBNeo reaffirmed their commitment to driving inclusive financial services through technology, and to contributing to Vietcombank’s broader 'OneVCB' strategy.
