Cambodia aims to promote trade, enhance tourism investments, and facilitate human development

Cambodia encourages closer cooperation in trade, tourism investment, and human capital development with Cyprus and other countries.

Cambodia’s Acting Head of State, Hun Sen, who also serves as Senate President, underscored the importance of cooperation while receiving the Honorary Consul of Cyprus to Cambodia, Salah Essa, on March 18 in Phnom Penh.

During the meeting, Salah Essa, leading a group of Honorary Consuls from ten other countries, praised Cambodia’s rapid socio-economic growth and expressed a desire to enhance cooperation with the nation.

In thanking the delegation, Hun Sen stated that Cambodia is eager to concentrate on trade, tourism investment, and human capital development with the countries represented by the Honorary Consuls.

Salah Essa replied that he and the other Honorary Consuls would strive to promote the proposed areas of cooperation by expanding trade and attracting more investment and tourists to Cambodia.
