Thái Tuấn Group inaugurates fabric factory

The factory is one of Thái Tuấn's largest investments to date, costing about VNĐ4.4 trillion (US$172 million) to build.

Thái Tuấn Group, a leading fashion service provider in Việt Nam, has launched its own fabric production factory, after nearly three years of construction.

The factory covers 130,000sq.m and is located in Anh Hồng Industrial Park in Đức Hòa District, Long An Province. It is one of Thái Tuấn's largest investments to date, costing about VNĐ4.4 trillion (US$172 million).

Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, the factory is organised into nine areas, each dedicated to a specific phase of fabric production. It is expected to produce 60 million metres of fabric per year.

The production line features technology from Japan and Europe, with highly automated functions, which will help to enhance operational efficiency.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the company's chief executive officer Trần Hoài Nam said: “We always recognise that innovation and applying modern technology in production are the key factors to improve productivity, produce quality products and increase market competitiveness.

"Our factory is equipped with advanced technology lines and international-standard production processes, which is not important step forward for us, but also a testament to our commitment to continuously improve for the sustainable development of Việt Nam's textile industry.”

On behalf of Long An Province's leaders, Nguyễn Văn Út, chair of the province's People's Committee, acknowledged the efforts, determination and commitment of Thái Tuấn Group to continue its operation in the province. 

He expressed confidence that with the large-scale, environmentally-friendly factory, the company will have sustainable growth in Long An.
