Ho Chi Minh Export Furniture Fair to take place in HCM City next week

The 2025 Ho Chi Minh Export Furniture Fair (HawaExpo 2025) will be held at White Palace Phạm Văn Đồng in Thủ Đức City from March 5 to 7 with the participation of top-tier wooden furniture, interior-exterior décor and home accessories brands.

HawaExpo will showcase the unique strengths of Việt Nam’s wood export industry and unveil the latest advancements in the industry’s design and technology in line with the global sustainable development trend, as well as highlight the essence of Việt Nam’s traditional woodworking craftsmanship, the organisers said.

March is regarded as a festive season for Việt Nam’s and Southeast Asia’s wood industry, with a series of international exhibitions taking place simultaneously.

Continuing to solidify its position as the premier trade platform for Việt Nam’s wood industry, HawaExpo 2025 features numerous innovations to enhance the visitor experience and create seamless connections for buyers from over 100 countries, they said.

Over 80 per cent of exhibitors are Vietnamese manufacturers that the organising committee has carefully selected to ensure that they meet the event’s three key criteria: strong production capabilities with factories in Việt Nam, adaptability to global market demands and trends, and commitment to long-term sustainable practices.

The organisers noted that by doing so, HawaExpo contributes to elevate Việt Nam’s wood and furniture industry on the international stage.

According to their 2024 survey, over 90 per cent of buyers were satisfied with the fair’s updates (new products launched from leading exporters, new exhibitors and new market insights) and innovations.

This year, several exhibitors will unveil their latest products at HawaExpo.

For example, Vasta Stone will debut its Vân Trong Xương sintered stone collection at the exhibition. Thành Tâm (Bình Định Province) will showcase its latest collection made from thermowood, which is wood that has been treated with heat and steam to enhance durability, water resistance, termite resistance, and longevity.

Forexco Quảng Nam, embracing the green living trend, will introduce a new product line incorporating eco-friendly materials such as woven natural fibers and water-based oil finishes.

Organised by Viforest Fair Company and consisting of five associations – Viforest, HAWA, BIFA, DOWA, and FPA Bình Định – the event will officially open at 6:00pm on March 4, and will be free to visit from March 5–7 at White Palace, 588 Phạm Văn Đồng, Thủ Đức City.
