MoC reviews Kingdom’s Digital Trade Policy 2025-2030
The Ministry of Commerce (MoC) recently held a meeting to review the structure and format of the policy and gather additional input from relevant departments to contribute to a more comprehensive draft of Cambodia’s Digital Trade Policy to promote digital inclusivity and strengthen Cambodia’s integration into the global market.
Reach Ra and Chea Ratha, Secretaries of State of the Ministry of Commerce, chaired a significant internal meeting at the Ministry of Commerce in Phnom Penh to give a broad outline to review the structure and format of the policy and gather additional input from relevant departments.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and discuss the draft of Cambodia’s Digital Trade Policy for 2025-2030. This important gathering was attended by stakeholders, including the Secretary of State, the Under Secretary of State, senior representatives from the General Department, various line departments, and members of the Profitence consulting firm, who provided expert advice.
The primary objective of the meeting was to evaluate the structure and format of the Digital Trade Policy, which aims to guide Cambodia’s digital transformation and economic growth. This initial review session sought valuable feedback from different departments to refine and enrich the draft policy, ensuring that it aligns with the nation’s vision for a more digitally inclusive economy.
By gathering input from various sectors, the meeting aimed to create a more comprehensive document that reflects the diverse needs and perspectives of Cambodia’s evolving digital landscape.
