In the first six months of 2024, the number of sellers and affiliate creators joining TikTok Shop increased by 2.1 and 2.5 times, respectively.

The platform also saw a 79 per cent surge in the number of consumers seeking products on TikTok Shop.

Moreover, the growth of flash sale deal campaigns on the platform quadrupled in the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2023.

Notably, revenue from livestream sales during the TikTok Shop 6.6 campaign increased by 153 per cent compared to previous double-day campaigns in the first half, although the company did not disclose specific figures.

To drive sales further, TikTok Shop is focusing on improving customer experiences during the Mega Sale season, promising a fourfold increase in development efforts. The platform will expand exclusive opportunities for brands to participate in TikTok Shop Mall and take part in special campaigns while enhancing discount code support policies.
