Marriott International to open upscale resort in Vietnam

Scheduled to open in 2026, The Residences at Arbora, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in the famous central coastal city of Da Nang will be the first Luxury Collection Residences in the Asia Pacific region.

IFF Holdings recently announced that it has signed an agreement with Marriott International to open a luxury collection hotel and branded residences in the famous central coastal city of Da Nang.

Scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2026, The Residences at Arbora and Arbora Luxury Collection Resort & Spa will be nestled between the historic charm of Hoi An and the modern vibrancy of Da Nang, promising an exclusive, luxurious experience that blends Vietnam's rich heritage with The Luxury Collection's signature sophisticated offerings.

"The Residences at Arbora will set a new standard in luxury living, beautifully marrying the timeless elegance of Hoian's culture with modern design excellence," said Nguyen Thi Mai, Chairwoman of IFF Holdings. "This project captures the essence of a bygone era through its elevated design and service offerings and aims to redefine luxury living in the region," she added.

Designed with architectural vision by Maps Design, landscaping by Cooper Hill and interiors by HBA, the residences are meticulously crafted to reflect the natural beauty of the area through a lens of contemporary luxury.

The Arborais development has been meticulously planned to include 220 hotel rooms, 12 hotel villas, 63 residential villas and 74 residential sky villas, each with its own private lift and pool. The Residences’ configuration  is designed to ensure that each living space offers a luxurious and tranquil experience.

Abora Luxury Collection Resort & Spa is poised to become a premier culinary destination, offering an array of dining experiences that promise to satisfy a variety of palates. From Hotaru, an omakase restaurant with a unique Japanese whiskey bar, to The Last Wave, a beachfront restaurant that captures the tranquil charm of Vietnamese coastal life, each venue is designed to offer a culinary journey in a luxurious setting.

Complementing these dining experiences, the resort will include a comprehensive wellness center, expected to be over 2,000 square meters, equipped with a state-of-the-art fitness center and a modern 1,500-square-meter conference and art exhibition hall.
