A Chinese firm interested in investing in industrial park creation in Cambodia

A Chinese company, Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group, has expressed its intention to invest in Cambodia in the establishment of an industrial park.

A delegation of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group raised this intention yesterday during its courtesy visit to Lor Tith Chansopheak, an Advisor to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

The main objective of the visit was to seek investment opportunities in creating an industrial park, which will significantly contribute to promoting economic growth, attracting investments in potential areas, and enhancing the bilateral relations between Cambodia and China in the future, said the Chinese delegation.

The advisor welcomed the delegation’s visit and thanked them for choosing Cambodia to seek investment opportunities.

He also highlighted the Royal Government’s favorable incentive programme granted to investment activities and key potential sectors as defined in the Investment Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
