Phuc Khang hands Diamond Lotus Riverside over to residents

Diamond Lotus Riverside, developed by Phuc Khang Mitsubishi Corporation Holdings – a joint venture between Phuc Khang Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation – saw certificates of land use and housing rights handed over to residents on October 30.

Diamond Lotus Riverside is located on Le Quang Kim street in Ho Chi Minh City's District 8. Just minutes away from Ben Thanh Market and Bach Dang Port, it is well-connected to the city's other central districts.

The project covers a total area of 16,800 square metres, with 3,200sq.m of construction space and a density of 19 per cent. It consists of three blocks, each with two basements and 22 floors. These include two commercial floors and 20 for residences, providing 760 apartments to house 3,200 people.

The project is registered according to LEED standards from the US Green Building Council and LOTUS by the Vietnam Green Building Council. To meet the strict evaluation criteria of these green building standards, Phuc Khang and its partners have strictly followed the key requirements with a sustainable location and the efficient use of water, energy, materials, and other resources.

Many outstanding green amenities that prioritise health and quality of life are featured, with over 15 per cent of the total roof area being planted with trees and living areas full of natural light and ventilation. All the apartments have views to the outside and use a low-emissivity glass system to reduce noise, prevent glare, and maintain ambient temperatures.

Vietnam is in a transformation phase as it implements its green growth goals to contribute to the global efforts to combat climate change, reaffirming its role as a pioneering country in terms of sustainable development. Therefore, green buildings that are optimised to reduce carbon emissions during construction and operation, such as Diamond Lotus Riverside, are of great interest, not only to local authorities and experts but also to the residents themselves.

Diamond Lotus Riverside was honoured in October last year by the Ministry of Construction and a delegation from the 2022 Vietnam Green Building Week. The project also regularly welcomes many industry experts, lecturers, and students who wish to research green buildings.

In addition, the residence was voted as a Top 10 luxury apartment project in 2022, as assessed by the Vietnam National Real Estate Association, a Top 5 smart green building project in 2021, issued by the Vietnam Research Real Estate Institute, and also gained the title of Liveable project in 2022, voted for by readers of the Business Forum Magazine.

All of those awards came thanks to Phuc Khang’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions and create a more eco-friendly, happy, and sustainable living space for the community.
