Hanoi hosts international industrial fair

The Hanoi International Exhibition of Key Industrial Products 2022 was held at the National Exhibition Construction Center in the capital city from October 27-29.

Tran Thi Phuong Lan, acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said this is the first trade fair of this kind in Hanoi. The event accommodated about 250 booths of enterprises from Hanoi and 11 provinces and cities, showcasing high-quality products in the field of electricity, electronics, mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, textile and garment, industrial machines, and more.

The international fair was organized to examine Hanoi’s implementation of the program, under which it has supported industrial enterprises in strengthening their ties and seeking new opportunities to establish partnerships with businesses at home and abroad. Under the program, the municipal people’s committee has recognized 163 products of 107 enterprises as key Hanoi industrial products.

Garment 10 Corporation JSC was one of the exhibitors at the fair, introducing high-quality reasonably priced shirts, pants and winter coats and attracting a large number of visitors to its booth.

EVGo electric motorbikes of the Son Ha Group draw fair visitors’ interest

Dinh Duc Tuan, Director of the EVGO electric vehicle production plant under the Son Ha Group said the EVGO electric motorbike exhibited at the fair was developed by technology cooperation between Son Ha and German Bosch Group. The two segments - middle-class (from VND20.9-25.9 million/vehicle) and high-class (from VND29.9-39.9 million/vehicle) attracted major interest from visitors. Tuan also added that despite being new to the market, the EVGO has gained consumer trust thanks to affordable prices and good quality.

Given the success of this first international fair, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will organize additional trade fairs and exhibitions to help develop key industrial products in Hanoi and the country as the whole.

Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade: “Enterprises engaged in producing key industrial products are those that dare to think, dare to do, take the lead in technological and equipment innovation, and apply quality management systems in line with international standards, thereby, contributing to labor productivity, reducing environmental pollution, and developing the city's industrial production in a sustainable manner.”
