MB comes top at Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards 2022
MB's three award-winning solutions at the Vietnam Digital Awards 2022 outperformed more than a thousand other innovations.
The Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards - Vietnam Digital Awards 2022, held in Hanoi last week, saw hundreds of representatives from renowned domestic and international organisations in the software and information technology fields.
Specifically, all three of MB's technological advantages were recognised at the event. Charity app “App Thien Nguyen” was recognised in the category of "Products and solutions for the digital transformation of the community," while Wealth Management, a financial investment platform on the MBBank App and BIZ MBBank, a digital banking solution for businesses, was honoured in the category of "Prominent products, services, digital transformation solutions."
Nguyen Thuy Linh, deputy director of MB Digital Banking said, "MB sees talent as the important aspect in digital transformation. We place a strong emphasis on providing training for bank workers, not just in terms of professional knowledge but also in terms of creative thinking and mindset.”
She added that UI/UX training is provided to all employees, which would greatly support bankers in comprehending customer experience.
MB’s diverse digital innovations were appreciated by the Vietnam Digital Awards 2022 organisers. The Wealth Management feature of the MBBank app is a powerful resource, providing users easier access to a wide variety of investment options, including stocks, bonds, and mutual fund certificates, to name a few.
"This is one of our digital platforms which could make a breakthrough in the industry by assisting investors with a professional consultation at the most affordable charges while generating the greatest outcomes. To guarantee that investors have access to the finest exchange and investment space, we adopt one of the most cutting-edge approaches in the world,” Linh said.
Meanwhile, BIZ MBBank is regarded as a valuable supporter of corporate clients thanks to its holistic and user-friendly digital service ecosystem. The organiser showed a great deal of respect for BIZ MBBank’s money transfer/salary payment option, which is among the most popular features. This solution enables businesses of all sizes to execute payroll payments easily, accommodating up to 40,000 beneficiary accounts inside or outside the system.
In addition, businesses may take advantage of many additional functions, including cash flow management, supply chain management, international money transfers, and foreign exchange trading in a completely paperless manner.
MB is committed to doing good for the community alongside its commercial endeavours. “App Thien Nguyen,” developed by MB, was officially released in September 2021 and quickly received widespread support as the unit assigned by the government to research digital transformation solutions and build and develop a digital humanitarian platform to promote transparency and community cohesion.
The Volunteer Account at MB is a special checking account designed for nonprofits and volunteers to pool their resources. The account has only four digits, making it simple to memorise and offering donors a quick option for monetary donations. Concurrently, financial statements and transactions will also be made available to the public via the “App Thien Nguyen” and or website.
According to a spokesman from MB, the bank’s goal is to make “App Thien Nguyen” the first social network in Vietnam devoted to volunteering by the year 2025.
MB will incorporate the current capabilities of the iNhandao platform into “App Thien Nguyen” to develop an extensive social network for charitable organisations. At the same time, the platform will be effective, professionally managed, and tailored to the requirements of the applicable legal framework and users’ preferences.
Each year, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and the Ministry of Information and Communications host the annual Vietnam Digital Awards. This year, 49 outstanding organisations, businesses, and novel products and solutions were recognised for contributing to the country's ongoing digital transformation.
