MB received Corporate Excellence recognition at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2022

MB Bank has been recognised at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2022 in the category of Corporate Excellence. This is a testament to MB's recent commitment to sustainable development and the digital revolution.

Last week, APEA, which is the biggest non-governmental organisation in Asia, hosted an event honouring outstanding businesses from around the Asia-Pacific region.

During the event, MB was presented with an award of distinction as a winner in the category of Corporate Excellence Award 2022. This is the third year in a row that MB has been given the honour of receiving this distinguished award.

The Corporate Excellence Award is the most prestigious award in Asia given to organisations and brands that boast excellent commercial successes and display exemplary societal responsibility, therefore contributing to a better society.

A representative from MB highlighted, "This award is a tribute to the proper business strategy and an acknowledgement of MB's efforts to develop and expand its technology capabilities. This is also the reason for MB to gradually accomplish its vision of becoming a leading digital financial group and its objective of being in the top three in the market."

With its customer-centric philosophy, MB is an innovator in providing commercial import L/C services adapting blockchain-enabled technology via the Contour platform for small-and-medium-sized businesses, together with other innovative offerings such as lucky and pretty bank accounts, phone-like accounts, and a comprehensive wealth management platform that allows customers to manage their assets and make financial investments in MBBank app.

The bank is not only concerned with generating new revenue streams or satisfying customers’ ever-changing needs, but also with making a positive impact on society.

Integrating the applications of charity social networks and transparent payment accounts, App Thien Nguyen by MB, a transparent charity solution that enables organisations and individuals to generate donations and engage in community-supporting activities, has received much attention from the public.

"After launching this platform, the app has mobilised between $4.4-$8.9 million annually, actively contributing to social charity activities," stated an MB spokesman.

Over the course of more than a decade, APEA has become a prestigious award system held annually in 14 countries with many stringent selection criteria and a rigorous selection process.

To receive this award, candidates must pass several rounds of evaluation, including a financial audit, evaluation of corporate and brand data over the years, interviews with industry experts, and secret ballots by an international advisory board.
