Some 300 companies in the finance and banking, consumer goods, technology, services and other sectors have registered to take part in ‘Shopping Season 2021’ both offline and online, a Department of Industry and Trade official told VnExpress.

There will be 400-450 booths selling food, fashion and consumer items at the Phu Tho Sports Gymnasium in District 11 as well as on a website created by the department.

The department has called on the city people’s committee to organize the ‘Shopping Season’ sale twice a year, from June 15 to July 15 and from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, and make it a regular event like the Great Singapore Sales, the U.S.’s Black Friday and Malaysia’s Year End Sale.
