Savills implements strict COVID-19 measures in managed projects
Savills has redeployed more refined COVID-19 preventative measures in all their managed projects with the primary focus on disinfection through spraying, keeping residents and clients regularly updated, emergency training, and preparing separate isolation areas.

After being informed of the outbreak, Savills Hanoi Property Management Department moved to urgent action. The management boards at each project immediately reinstated COVID-19 safety protocols. Lessons from the previous outbreak had been heeded. Prior to the outbreak in Hai Duong, Savills property directors had been participating in additional training for improved pandemic prevention to provide safe but effective management.
Savills Vietnam Hanoi’s office is in Leadvisors Tower. Their property management team has already distributed the necessary medical supplies around the building, and in high-footfall public areas. Signs have been posted at the entrances, reception, in and outside of elevators reminding everyone of the need to wear masks, regularly wash hands, and to use hand sanitiser. Visitors without masks are provided a free mask to wear, if they refuse to wear them, they are denied entrance. Imperia Sky Garden has also implemented these measures. The community living areas, halls, and elevators are being regularly sprayed with disinfectant to ensure resident safety. Savills management teams have also prepared separate isolation areas to be ready for the worst-case scenario.
Every Savills managed project has implemented these measures, while providing refresher training for operational teams. Savills management boards are also regularly liaising and working closely with the authorities.

Vu Kieu Hanh, Savills Hanoi director of Property Management said: “A property that is clean and well-maintained helps develop more trust from residents and, importantly in these stressful times, supports their mental wellbeing. Under COVID-19, residents, tenants, or people working in the building have no choice but to trust the management board and operational teams, which is something we at Savills take very seriously.”
She went on to say, “The Savills Property Cube app has direct management to resident messaging, which essentially removes any need for close contact. Though the last outbreak gives us a great deal of confidence in how all our management teams and staff will respond, we are not taking anything for granted and are doubling down on our efforts to keep our residents, clients, customers, and our staff free from harm. Our most urgent focus right now is to help everyone celebrate the Lunar New Year safely. We are committed to carefully controlling the situation over the Lunar New Year, and beyond.”
With residential and office markets in Vietnam thriving, investors increasingly focus on project management and operations, rightly regarding this critical support as essential asset management.
The value of property management lies in long-term efficiencies to enable trouble-free operations which also enhances the reputation of the property to prospective users. This all enables investors to shift focus to the next project, knowing their property is in the best possible hands. Savills’ deep understanding of property and their long experience in Vietnam is further reinforced by their Property Management Department’s commitment to innovation and improvement of every aspect of their work. Savills is the leading property management services provider in Vietnam.
