Casumina has researched and developed lines of specific TBR tires for the US market

Casumina has been a reputable brand in Vietnam for over four decades and is the only Vietnamese tire maker listed among the top 60 global tire companies. Its diverse products serve cars, trucks and coaches (Bias, Radial - Casumina Radial), motorcycles (Tubeless - Euromina), vehicles in industrial and agricultural sectors (Casumina Gold), as well as bicycles. Casumina’s products are currently exported to 18 countries and territories, including major markets in Southeast Asia, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Despite intensified competition with domestic and foreign products, Casumina maintains its leading role in the domestic market and competes effectively with foreign tires brands.

In addition to manufacturing in accordance with the most advanced Japanese standards and the ISO 9001 international quality management system, the company has also cooperated with Continental AG Group of Germany to produce high quality products, meeting European E4 standards and gradually penetrating deeply into difficult markets such as Europe and Northern America.

Casumina has invested since 2009 in a new line of specialized tubeless tires called Euromina for scooters. This has proven a wise decision given widespread consumer preference for scooters.

Strategic tire brand

Casumina has invested in the most advanced production lines with optimized technology to produce PCR tires which are expected to have the largest output growth rate for passenger and sport vehicles. This will be a strategic product line for US partners designed to increase driving comfort with enhanced safety and high durability on all roads. In addition, Casumina and its US partners have developed a line of lighter durable TBR tires specializing in the US market.

In 2020, Casumina is debuting a completely new line of PCR tires for tourism vehicles in the domestic market, manufactured by the most advanced technology with modern and sporty tread designs. This new product will be branded Advenza. Casumina will mark its 45th anniversary in 2021 and officially launch the Advenza PCR tire brand for the private car market.

Its net revenue increased 10 percent compared to the previous year and its after-tax profit reached VND53 billion - nine times higher compared to the results achieved in 2018. Due to a sudden growth in the fourth quarter of last year, Casumina’s gross profit margin fulfilled 96 percent of the revenue target and 82 percent of the pre-tax profit target.
