Hongkong Land’s luxury condominium project shining with three 5-star awards at Asia Pacific Property Awards 2020

Among the winners at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards 2020, The Marq is probably the project in Vietnam that is honoured in the most categories, including three prestigious 5-star awards.

Throughout its nearly three-decade history, this was the first time the Asia-Pacific Property Awards – a part of the long-established International Property Awards – took place online. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award ceremony was held online on September 7 in York city (UK) with congratulations from Lord Best, member of the House of Lords and chairman of the judging panel, as well as Stuart Shield, president and founder of the awards, along with judge Jo Hamilton.

Come rain or shine, the Asia-Pacific Property Awards are among the biggest and most established awards in the industry, receiving over 900 entries each year from companies operating in all sectors of the real estate industry, including architecture, design, consulting, and interior across the entire region. The award recognises the best performers based on stringent evaluation criteria on design, quality, service, innovation, uniqueness, creativity, and commitment to sustainability.

Overcoming many rounds of rigorous evaluation by the international board of judges among a list of strong local and international competitors, The Marq – a luxury condominium project with 515 opulent residences comprising of one to four-bedroom condominiums offering stunning views of Ho Chi Minh City, developed by Hongkong Land and An Khang – has been honoured with three prestigious 5-star awards: Mixed Use Interior, Residential High-Rise Architecture, and Residential Show House.

The success of The Marq in the Residential High-Rise Architecture category is associated with its modern architectural style expressed through smart design which still adheres to the orientation of creating a green living environment in the heart of the city. A modern living space with double glazing on the facade that helps reduce the amount of ambient noise from the street and decreases heat reaching into the units makes the project far more than a harsh concrete tower and more a green oasis harmoniously designed with tropical trees leading to the main entrance, a peaceful waterfall in front of the lobby, an infinity pool, relaxing jacuzzi pool, as well as Sky Bar and Sky Dinning on the rooftop.

In addition, The Marq's modern design of high ceilings and exquisite interior has completely conquered the international judges in the Residential High-Rise Architecture category. Compared to the standard 2.7m interior height in the market, The Marq has been designed with 3.2m ceilings, which goes as high as 6.9m in select 4-bedroom apartments – a special privilege for those who are seeking for the true value of life. The dramatically high ceilings are even more accentuated with the luxurious, coloured marble floors and walls, as well as other refined materials.

All of these elements are brought into full play at the project's show unit which provides a realistic experience to potential homebuyers. The show unit materialises all imaginations in front of visitors’ eyes, awakening all senses and redefining true luxury living.

In addition, The Marq also received 02 other Winner Awards in the Apartment/Condominium and Residential High-Rise Development categories. These prestigious awards are testament to the quality of the project and affirm the position of Hongkong Land and An Khang in the international market.

“Winning at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards 2020 is a great honour for Hongkong Land and An Khang, and it’s an endorsement of our commitment to creating modern and luxurious living spaces while preserving the heritage values that we always pursue throughout the history of the brand,” said Caleb Lau, general manager of Hongkong Land and director of The Marq.

Jointly developed by Hongkong Land and An Khang, The Marq is a luxury residential high-rise building, located in the heart of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. This development will provide 515 opulent residences comprising of one- to four-bedroom condominiums offering stunning city views and a true luxury lifestyle for discerning investors.
