Generali Vietnam launches new flagship version of VITA – Golden Health Rider

Italian-backed life insurer Generali Vietnam has just launched the new flagship version of "VITA – Sức Khỏe Vàng" (VITA – Golden Health Rider) with diverse added and upgraded benefits such as maternity care, dental care, outpatient treatment, and surgery benefits, as well as expanded worldwide coverage.

Launched in 2016, VITA – Golden Health Rider is the company’s highly popular rider for customers with entry age from 15 days to 65 years and insurance coverage of up to 70 years of age with superior healthcare benefits.

In quick response to the fast-changing health dynamics in Vietnam and around the world, Generali Vietnam presents the new version with added benefits and global coverage.

The new version of VITA – Golden Health Rider features superior additions and upgrades, along with the attractive benefits of the original version.

These benefits include comprehensive coverage of hospitalisation, surgeries, domestic emergency transportation, as well as treatment of accidents, illnesses, and diseases with total benefits of up to VND1 billion ($43,480) a year; new worldwide geographic hospitalisation coverage (excluding the United States) for the VIP plan; as well as new optional maternity care benefit of up to VND40 million ($1,740) a year.

Also, dental care benefit is now available for all plans (previously only applicable for the VIP plan), paired with outpatient benefits of to up to VND20 million ($870) a year, covering both Oriental and Western medicine, plus health check-up benefits of up to VND3.5 million ($150) per year after the first policy year.

With the above benefits and more, VITA – Golden Health Rider now offers best-in-class healthcare benefits to meet the increasing needs of millions of Vietnamese families.

In addition to insurance coverage, Generali customers also get free health consultation with Generali Vietnam’s experienced doctors seven days a week via the Alo Dr. Gen function on the GenVita app.
