Generali Vietnam launches health insurance distributed online

Vietnam Life Insurance LLC (Generali Vietnam) officially launched “VITA – Sống Như Ý” (VITA – Live the Life You Desire) with attractive inpatient treatment benefits and competitive premiums. This is the first health insurance product in Vietnam that will be available in pharmacies or Generali Vietnam’s partner stores, in addition to online channels such as GenVita and the Shopee e-commerce platform.

VITA – Sống Như Ý protects customers from 15 to 59 years of age against financial costs related to healthcare treatment by reimbursing actual medical expenses with total inpatient treatment benefits of up to 165 times the premium and competitive premiums starting from VND1,160,000 ($50.43) per policy year. The product can be purchased on http://genvita.vn, Shopee e-commerce platform, and at FPT Long Chau pharmacies nationwide. Generali Vietnam will continue to expand the distribution network for this product with other partners in the future.

Tina Nguyen, CEO of Generali Vietnam, said, “Health insurance is an integral part of our life, especially amidst rising medical costs. Driven by the desire to provide Vietnamese people with a comprehensive healthcare plan, we have designed VITA – Sống Như Ý which is easily accessible for families while at the same time offering a unique and enjoyable insurance experience tailored to their needs. We hope that Generali Vietnam’s superior products and services will bring our customers greater peace of mind so they can confidently pursue their passions and 'live the life they desire', as suggested by the name of this product.”

The outstanding benefits of VITA – Sống Như Ý include fast and easy-to-understand purchasing process – only three minutes required to learn about the product, three minutes to purchase it, and three minutes to activate it. The product can be purchased as a gift and full refunds are available. The product has transparent and easy-to-understand benefits with competitive premiums. It includes a number of options to suit a range of different customers and offers a wide network of inpatient direct billing partner hospitals nationwide.

In addition, there is efficient claims process via the GenClaims application, or at Generali Vietnam’s customer service centres nationwide, as well as free health consultation with Generali Vietnam’s experienced doctors via the Alo Dr. Gen function on GenVita.
