New innovations to be showcased at Aquaculture Vietnam
Farmers, fishermen and operators in the aquatic sector can stay updated on new products and innovations in the field at Aquaculture Vietnam 2019, slated for October 16-18 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.
Rose Chitanuwat, business director of UBM Asia, told a press briefing, held on August 15 in the city to announce the event, that Aquaculture Vietnam, through collaboration with Government agencies, non-governmental organizations and institutes will demonstrate new ecofriendly farming techniques that are expected to generate strong business results and meet the requirements of customers.

Nguyen Viet Thang, chairman at the Vietnam Fisheries Society (VINAFIS), said the local aquaculture sector is facing multiple obstacles due to climate change, market uncertainties, price volatility, and outdated manufacturing technology, among others.
