Security, fire safety, rescue exhibition opens in HCM City

The International Fire Safety and Rescue and Security Technology and Equipment Exhibition and Conference opened in HCM City on August 14.

 

Fire Safety and Rescue – Secutech Vietnam has 530 booths set up by over exhibitors from 21 countries and territories including the UK, India, Taiwan, Germany, the US, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, mainland China, and Viet Nam.

The products and services on display include advanced technologies and products in the fields of fire safety, security and rescue such as HD surveillance systems, alarms, access-control systems, biometrics, and equipment that could be used in industrial parks, transportation, banks, buildings, and others, besides rescue boats.

Besides showcasing a wide range of products and technologies, a series of conferences and seminars will be held to provide visitors with up-to-date market intelligence in the areas of smart factories and fire and safety.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Doan Viet Manh, director of the Viet Nam Fire

and Rescue Police Department, said the exhibition would provide an opportunity for local and international manufacturers and suppliers of security and safety products to get a look at new trends and applications and explore opportunities provided by the increasing demand for security, including fire safety and modern rescue equipment, in the Vietnamese market and exchange information and enhance co-operation.

Organised by the Viet Nam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition Joint Stock Company and Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, the exhibition will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre until Friday.
