Foxconn Vietnam plans to build factory in Quang Ninh

Foxconn Vietnam is planning to open a television screen component factory in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh with a labour demand of 3,000 workers.

Foxconn Vietnam General Director Harry Zhuo recently had a working session with Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thang to seek investment opportunities in the province.

The factory is planned to cover an area of 10 hectares in the Dong Mai Industrial Park in Quang Yen township with total investment of 40 million USD in the first phase.

Thang affirmed that the province will accompany and facilitate the group in implementing investment registration procedures in the shortest time.

At the same time, Quang Ninh will create favourable conditions for Foxconn Vietnam to invest in the project and recruit workers during the process of doing business and production.

Harry Zhuo said thanks to its achievements in economic development and modern transport infrastructure, Quang Ninh has attracted many major economic groups and this was also a big opportunity for Foxconn Vietnam to invest in the province.
