Four international exhibitions open in HCM City

Four international exhibitions in the paper, rubber and tyre, coatings, and plastic industries opened in HCM City on June 26.

They are showcasing machinery, technologies and materials used in the paper and pulp, rubber and tyre, coating, dyeing, inking and plastics industries.

More than 300 companies from countries like the US, Italy, Spain, Germany, India, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and China are participating.

There will be several seminars on their sidelines, including an Overview of Việt Nam’s Coating and Printing Ink Industry in 2019, Trend of Sustainable Development and Potential Certifications for Vietnamese Rubber Enterprises and Overview of Advantages of Using Newburg Siliceous Earth in Coatings.

There will also be VIP Buyer and B2B matching programmes to help businesses identify customers and make appointments and meet with potential partners.

According to the Việt Nam Paint and Printing Ink Association, the industry is still young in the country and so enterprises need opportunities to promote their products.

Coatings Expo Vietnam is an ideal opportunity for them to learn about the latest trends and market demand, and enhance co-operation with local and foreign counterparts, it said.

Organised by the Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co Ltd, China National Chemical Information Centre and China United Rubber Corporation, the four exhibitions are on at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) until June 28 and expect to receive 5,000 trade visitors.

More than 120 leading Chinese brands in the rubber and paper industries with "green chemicals" initiatives are displaying their products at the China Brand Show that also opened at the SECC on June 26.

They include Dalian Glospect, Shanghai Deren, Junma Tire, Yizumi Rubber, Jiangsu Altertech, Dandong Gaoxin, Jining Weiya, Qinyang and Shangbaoluo Jiangsu.

On show at the three-day event are products such as paper materials and products, paper models, paper dyes, rubber raw materials, rubber additives, rubber components, moulds and tyres, and machinery and equipment used in paper and rubber production.

It is being organised by VEAS, CNCIC, and CURC under the direction of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce’s Trade Development Bureau within the framework of the Paper Vietnam and Rubber & Tyre and RubberTech Vietnam.
