HNX collects over $75 million in March auctions

The Ha Noi Stock Exchange (HNX) organised six auctions in March with total transaction value of nearly VND1.76 trillion (US$75.45 million).

 

Three auctions for divestment were held for the Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company, Lilama 69-1 Joint Stock Company and Viglacera Corporation - Joint Stock Company.

In addition, two auctions for share purchasing rights for Bao Viet Hotel and Tourism Joint Stock Company and Ha Noi Audio Visual Media Joint Stock Company; and one auction for the IPO of Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3 also took place.

Three auction sessions of divestment and one auction for an IPO had a total offering volume of more than 83.9 million shares; and bid volume reached more than 73.2 million shares, accounting for 87.2 per cent of offered shares. The total number of winning shares of four sessions reached over 72 million shares, equivalent to a success rate of 85.8 per cent. The total amount of money collected was nearly VND1.74 trillion.

Over 5.8 million shares were put up for sale at the remaining two auctions of share purchasing rights, but up to over 10.2 million shares were ordered, 1.75 times more than the offered amount.

As a result, all 5.8 million shares offered were sold for more than VND23.7 billion.
