Companies fined for disclosure violations

The State Securities Commission (SSC) has imposed administrative sanctions on 11 enterprises and individuals who have violated disclosure regulations during the past week.

 

Of them, six companies were ordered to pay financial penalties for their violations.

The Corporation of Agriculture Irrigation Mechanisation Electrification Construction (AGRIMECO) and Tran Phu Electric Mechanical Company Limited had to pay VND350 million (US$15,350) each for not registering for trading after becoming public companies.

An Giang Fisheries Import Export JSC (AGF) was fined a total of VND155 million due to delays and deviation in disclosure of information compared to audited data.

Thao Vien Service Investment One Member Company Limited and Viet Nam Electric Cable Corporation were both fined VND85 million for not disclosing information of people involved in transactions.

Duc Giang Corporation was ordered to pay VND70 million for failing to send registration documents for securities trading on time after becoming a public company.
