The Civil Aviation Department under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has given a certificate of Approved Training Organisation to Indonesian aviation in a bid to increase cooperation in the aviation sector.

MitraAviasi Perkasa Mr SeptoAdjieSudiro, and aviation sector officials from both sides.
The Indonesia civil aviation industry is excelling with 10 percent growth per year. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Indonesia is predicted to be the sixth largest market in 2034, Mr Irmawan Emir Wisnandar said at the ceremony.
However, the Indonesia government is fully aware that rapid growth of the civil aviation industry means nothing if the safety aspect does not meet international standards, so the safety aspect will always be the top priority, he added.
Mr Emir Wisnandar noted with satisfaction the enhancement of cooperation between Laos and Indonesia in the aviation sector, including the signing of the Pro-Rating Agreement between Lao Airlines and Garuda Indonesia as well as the cooperation between Lao Airlines and the Garuda Maintenance Facility.
I am very glad to hear that a delegation from PT. Dirgantara Indonesia plans to visit Laos as a follow up to the Director General of the Civil Aviation Department's visit to Bandung, he added.
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vientiane stands ready to facilitate any effort to enhance cooperation between Indonesia and Laos, he said.
