UK helps Lao businesses grow with British supply chain

The British Government has introduced free matching services to help Lao companies and entrepreneurs find the suppliers they need. Companies can sign up for this service by April 15 for a chance to attend the International Festival of Business in the UK.

There have been over 80,000 responses from British companies to overseas business opportunities in the last two years, and there has been a year-on-year increase of 95 percent, demonstrating that the UK is a world-leading hub and very much open for business.

Trade between Laos and the UK has also seen steady growth. More and more British companies are opening branches in Laos, while Lao companies value the high quality of British products and services.

With a network of experienced companies across all sectors, the UK Government's free matching service on https://www.events.ukti.gov.uk/business-is-great-2016 is enabling businesses from Laos to benefit from world-class products and services.

By registering, companies are able to outline the products or services they need and the UK Government will match them with the right British business partners.

Health, Technology and creative companies that register their details before April 15 2016 will not only benefit from being linked up with leading British businesses but also be in with the chance to attend the International Festival of Business 2016 in Liverpool as part of a bespoke trade delegation.
