HPT implemented the first IT project for Phillippines national fund

HPT has successfully implemented the first project "Providing and deploying IT service management solution" for PAG - IBIG fund, also known as Home Development Mutual Fund, national fund of Philippines.

The project was implemented by the department of IT service management solution - HPT System Integration Center from August 25, 2015 to November 5, 2015, accomplished one month sooner than implementation requirement from PAG – IBIG fund. This project is also the first project HPT tendered and deployed in Philippines market.

Established in 1987, PAG – IBIG fund helps to answer to the need for a national savings program and an affordable shelter financing for the Philippines worker. In recent years, the Fund has embarked on its successful bid in the financial market, moving a step closer to its vision of becoming a premier and globally competitive provident financial institution. PAG – IBIG FUND has about 100 branches and 6000 employees, operates widely throughout Philippines.

IT Service Management (ITSM) which HPT implemented for PAG – IBIG fund includes ITIL v3 compliant IT service management processes and IT service management system software of HP. IT service management system software of HP includes IT Service Tracking – monitor operations of IT services for infrastructure, database and application, Service Desk – monitor management of IT service compliant with IT service management processes, client management – manage PC, laptop, mobile devices and ect.

With optimised solution of HP, HPT consulted PAG – IBIG fund to build processes, configure systems compliant with processes and management requirement of PAG – IBIG fund. After three months of focus implementation, HPT cooperated with PAG – IBIG fund through training, onsite support to apply processes and systems into daily IT operation. The project improved effectiveness in management of IT service in PAG – IBIG fund, well appreciated by PAG – IBIG fund and partner.

Collaborated with HPT in this project, Total Information Management Corporation (TIM) – a 25 year experienced System Integration Corporation in Philippines – deployed the hardware.

Relating to implementation of the project, Oliver, sale director of TIM said about HPT: “It’s very nice and prompt when it comes to servicing our client.
