VIB encourages customers to open accounts online

Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has launched a promotion programme to encourage more customers to open accounts online.

According to the promotion, VND500,000 (US$22) will be transferred to the first 100 customers who open new current accounts online (via the VIB website and e-bank), activate the account at a VIB counter, install MyVIB app and pay at least one bill via VIB Internet Banking or MyVIB till January 2, 2016.

The promotion programme was aimed at not only expressing the bank's appreciation for customers who open current accounts online, but also to showcase VIB's ambition to become the most innovative and customer-centric bank of Viet Nam, the bank said in its latest press release.

VIB had earlier launched the www.vib.com.vn website on the occasion of its 19th anniversary.
