TPBank offers preferential loans to SMEs

TPBank announced yesterday that it would provide preferential loans to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The medium- and long-term loans, which will use Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) funds, will help SMEs build factories, purchase machines and install production lines.

Following a loan agreement between the Vietnamese Government and JICA, the Small- and Medium-d Enterprise Finance Programme (SMEFP) aims to assist SMEs in accessing medium- and long-term loans from financial institutes.

In order to receive SMEFP funds, banks will be chosen by the State Bank of Viet Nam based on factors such as financial, management and evaluation capacities as well as credit processes.
