Work starts on new industrial zone in Binh Phuoc

The Hai Vuong-Sikico Group started construction on the Minh Hung Sikico Industrial Zone (Anzone Industrial Zone for short) in Hon Quan district, the southern province of Binh Phuoc on September 21.

The VND1.8 trillion project is divided into two phases. The first phase, covering a total area of 495.8 hectares, is scheduled for completion in 2020.

The second phase is expected to be deployed from 2020 to 2025, increasing the industrial zone’s area to 1,500 hectares.

The project is expected to create jobs for 40,000 local workers, and improve local living conditions and infrastructure facilities.

The industrial zone is considered as the second large project in Binh Phuoc.

Earlier, the Becamex – Binh Phuoc Industrial and Urban Complex has a total investment of roughly VND20 trillion (US$4910 million) by the Becamex – Binh Phuoc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company, a joint venture between the Becamex Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (IDC), the Song Be Rubber Company and others.
