Vietnamese businesses to attend Moscow food exhibition

Twelve Vietnamese businesses are visiting Russia to attend the International Food Exhibition in Moscow, which will take place from September 14 to 17.

The annual World Food Moscow is expected to attract 1,700 businesses from Russia and 71 other countries and territories, and more than 30,000 visitors.

The exhibition, being held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow, has sections such as catering, food and beverages, drinks and food processing industries, besides food industry and food products.

The stalls of the Vietnamese businesses, covering 90sq.m, will showcase a variety of products such as food, seafood, spices and farm produce.

Among Vietnamese participants are well-known businesses in the fields of food production and processing, such as the Ha Noi Trade Corporation (Hapro), Nafoods Group JSC and Fruit and Vegetable Import and Export JSC.

The participation of Vietnamese businesses is expected to create opportunities for them to study the market and consumers' demands in Russia, by establishing trade and investment partnerships to help boost distribution and consumption networks there.
