New Fecon boss targets pole position

The board chairman of Fecon Foundation Engineering and Underground Construction JSC, one of Vietnam’s leading contractors in foundation engineering, appointed Tran Trong Thang as the company’s new general director last week.

Thang, born in 1972, has a 20 year-plus track record in foundation engineering work, and will be responsible for driving the company’s growth in the upcoming period.

Prior to assuming his new post, Thang has spent one year as Fecon’s acting general director. With his wealth of experience, management expertise, and with support from other executives and employees, Thang is expected to help the company strengthen its branding, and achieve ambitious development goals.

In 2015, Fecon’s revenue target is VND1.8 trillion ($85.7 million).
