Textile plant to be built in Vinh Phuc industrial park

Singapore's TAL Apparel Company has got the Vinh Phuc People's Committee's approval for constructing a US$50-million textile plant in the provincial Ba Thien II Industrial Park.

The 8ha plant, the largest foreign-invested project in the province over the past five years, is scheduled to be completed by September next year, generating 3,500 local jobs.

As of November, the northern Vinh Phuc Province has attracted 38 foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital of nearly $300 million.
