Shares continue to rise on both bourses

On the HCM City Stock Exchange this morning, the VN-Index gained just 0.03 per cent to close at 628.97 points.

 

The VN30 Index, tracking the top 30 stocks, also rallied by 0.03 per cent, reaching 666.60 points, although the losers outnumbered the gainers by 13 to 11.

As about 66.3 million shares changed hands, the trading value reached nearly VND1.2 trillion (US$56.6 million).

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index added another 0.65 per cent to end at 88.43 points.

The volume of transactions reached more than 45.7 million shares on a total turnover of VND599.9 billion ($28.2 million).

Blue chips in Ha Noi helped the HNX30 Index to advance by 0.89 per cent to finish at 181.90 points.
