All new Power Daily incorporates latest IVECO technology

Diesel powered minibuses manufactured by IVECO are now available in Laos, after the IVECO Power Daily Model for 2015 was officially launched on Wednesday at a showroom on the 450 Year Road in Vientiane.

More than 10 journalists from five media companies and some 125 potential customers were present at the official launch of the IVECO minibus, where a product presentation and question and answer session took place before the official road test.

The road test began with a demonstration of the ABS (Antilock Braking System) which features front and rear disc brakes. Immediately afterwards the journalists set off for a test drive with the fleet of three types of minibuses like the 10 seater, 15 seater and 18 seater.

The all new Power Daily is powered by a 2.8 litre mechanical injection pump diesel engine (105 Hp / 115 Hp) which is compliant with Euro II emission levels and most suitable for the current fuel quality in Laos. The gear train includes the new 5 speed manual gearbox.

T he minibus is offered with various seating arrangements and specification configurations, from the basic 10 seater version to the luxury 18 seats.

The people transport version of IVECO Power Daily offers the maximum comfort and internal equipment, together with a varied combination of doors, windows, and internal heights (from 1,690mm and 10 seats to 1,940 mm and 16/19 seats).

The same safety systems and rich equipment offerings are included in the Minibus, with the standard two point safety belts on exposed seats. Tilting seats complete with armrest and headrest ensure maximum of comfort for passenger seats.

IVECO Power Daily comes with many different safety features providing class leading safety levels in its category. The truck derived chassis frame ensures high structural rigidity while the braking system comes with front and rear discs.

Additionally, the safety belts and other technological devices for active and passive protection assure both driver and passenger of outstanding safety in all types of driving conditions. ABS braking is available as an option throughout the range.

IVECO workshops provide the manufacturer's quality combined with the skills of technicians who know your vehicle like no-one else. Specialised diagnostic and repair tools such as E.A.S.Y. and its accessories EasyScope and Easy Skite guarantee efficiency and speed even in indirect assistance missions.

Each Power Daily vehicle can maintain its level of performance excellence over time by using Origin 100 % IVECO, the original spare parts service based on rigorous selection of materials and suppliers and strict specific testing on every product.

That is why it has an efficient, state of the art original parts sourcing and distribution system, which guarantees delivery of the part you need within 24 hours, anywhere in the world, day or night, 365 days a year.

On top of this, the IVECO shop accessory line allows you to completely customise your Power Daily in terms of safety, practicality and comfort.

The Power Daily is a “global” vehicle: more than 2.6 million Power Daily vehicles have been sold to date in over 110 countries worldwide. It is produced at the Iveco Suzzara plant, near Mantova in Italy, at the Iveco Valladolid plant in Spain and the Nanjing plant in China.

The company has recently made substantial investments in these plants to renew the production lines.
