Ha Noi to hold second property fair to stimulate market

The second property exposition and trade fair will be held in Ha Noi from October 18-20, a move expected to shore up a long-time sagging property market.

Up to 20 exhibitors are on the waiting list, said the secretary of the Viet Nam Association of Real Estate (VNREA), Phan Thanh Mai, early this week.

Information about banking support deals, and social and low-cost houses will be made available.

Customers are also able to talk directly with investors and commercial bankers and attend a workshop.

Mai said that about 10 commercial housing projects were being converted to social housing, each offering several hundred to 1,000 apartments
