Extended three day demand for EDL
Extended three day demand for EDL
Turnover September 6 fell away with less demand for BCEL and prices very much flat lined.
EDL-Gen finished the day with almost identical volumes (70K-71K), with the stock in a rally which had extended into a third straight day, but the price boringly unchanged (4,800 kip) for an eighth straight day in a row.
After 3 days of successive minor falls the Lao stock exchange opened quietly and closed unchanged.
The first session only traded just 2½ thousand shares.
BCEL was the only stock to open in that first settlement at 7,300 kip per share, mainly in carry over matching trades.
Demand then picked up for 48K EDL-Gen stocks in the next 9:30 close plus another 16K BCEL shares but then the banking stock ran out of steam.
