Multi-million-dollar villa gets owner

The high-end villas under the Chateau project developed by Phu My Hung Corporation (PMH) are on sale at the prices of tens to hundreds of billions of dong each, in which the highest priced house has been bought.

This is one of the villa projects with the highest offering prices in HCM City at present. The most expensive property there is some 97 billion dong, or some US$47 million.

According to the project owner, the Chateau luxury villas are aimed at wealthy customers and successful businesspeople.

The Chateau project consists of 103 villas, including 67 detached houses and 36 adjacent ones, covering 500-700 square meters each.

In November last year, PMH opened the first 47 villas for sale. Five months later, the company offered the next 41 houses.

It is expected that the project owner will launch an additional 15 high-end villas this Saturday.

PMH does not reveal how many units were sold in the previous sales, but the highest priced villa has been purchased. The Chateau villas are priced from 23-97 billion dong each.

The first phase of the project will be completed in the first quarter of 2013.
