This marks the fifth consecutive year of record performance. The strong results were underpinned by UNIQLO operations in all regions reporting year-on-year revenue and profit gains, following the opening of high-quality stores that effectively convey the value of LifeWear, and the strategically enhanced coordination of products, store displays, and customer communications.

The group’s consolidated revenue in the year to August 31, 2026, rose to ¥3.9633 trillion (over US$25 billion), a 16.6 per cent increase from the previous year, with business profit totalling ¥718.4 billion, a robust 30.4 per cent year-on-year increase.

Finance income recorded a net gain of ¥59.3 billion, consisting of ¥52.2 billion in interest income and ¥7.1 billion in translated foreign exchange gains on foreign-currency denominated assets. As a result, profit before income taxes increased to ¥802.5 billion, rising 23.4 per cent year on year, and profit attributable to owners of the parent expanded to ¥542.5 billion, an increase of 25.3 per cent.

The year-end dividend per share was expected to rise to ¥530, which - when added to the ¥320 interim dividend - would generate a scheduled annual dividend of ¥850; an increase of ¥350 from the previous year.

Fast Retailing also announced its forecast for the 2027 fiscal year, in which it expects consolidated revenue to rise 12.3 per cent to ¥4.4500 trillion, business profit to rise 15.5 per cent to ¥830.0 billion, profit before income taxes to rise 9.7 per cent to ¥880.0 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the parent to rise 3.2 per cent to ¥560.0 billion.

Based on these forecasts, the annual dividend per share is projected to be ¥900, split equally into interim and year-end dividends of ¥450 each, an increase of ¥50 compared to the previous year.

In the 2026 fiscal year, among group business segments, UNIQLO International reported a record high performance on the back of significant increases in both revenue and profit. Revenue rose 26.2 per cent year on year to ¥2.4111 trillion, with business profit expanding 44.1 per cent to ¥439.8 billion. The business profit margin also improved following the reporting of double-digit revenue and profit growth across all regions in the segment.

Fast Retailing Group is focusing on a number of areas as part of its endeavour to become the global No.1 brand, an essential part of everyday life that is trusted by all customers around the world.

These measures include: training personnel to support global growth; pursuing a business model in which the development of business contributes to sustainability; meeting customer needs and creating new customers; diversifying group and global earnings pillars; and establishing earnings and cost structures to suit an inflationary era.

In particular, the group will also continue to open new high-quality stores and enhance product development and branding at UNIQLO International as the growth pillar of Fast Retailing Group.
