SCG opens first SCG Home retail destination in Việt Nam

SCG said the expansion marks another step in its strategy to expand consumer-facing solutions in Việt Nam, responding to the country’s growing demand for home improvement and quality living solutions.

Thailand's SCG opened its first SCG Home retail destination in Việt Nam on Saturday, reflecting its long-term commitment to the country, one of ASEAN’s most dynamic markets. 

The 5,500sq.m store in Hà Nội's Long Biên District offers products including tiles, sanitary ware, furniture and other home solutions, with the company positioning the outlet as a one-stop destination for home renovation and improvement.

"Finishing a home is a journey involving numerous choices," Tananan Decha-Umphai, director of SCG Home Vietnam, said. 

"We want to bring that journey into a convenient space where customers can enjoy a seamless and inspiring shopping experience."

SCG, which has more than a century of experience in building materials and construction-related businesses, said the retail concept would also offer products and solutions focused on energy efficiency, safety and improved living environments.

The company described the Việt Nam outlet as its first SCG Home retail chain in the country and its second international chain, building on its existing business in Thailand.

SCG said the expansion marks another step in its strategy to expand consumer-facing solutions in Việt Nam, responding to the country’s growing demand for home improvement and quality living solutions.
