SSI Securities Corporation (SSI), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) and global payment leader Visa on June 25 launched the ProfitX co-branded card, a virtual international debit card designed to integrate investment and spending on a single digital platform, offering users a seamless financial experience.

The launch marks the first time in Việt Nam that a securities company and a commercial bank have jointly developed an international card combining investment and payment functions.

The product targets the growing generation of digital investors who prioritise digital financial services, actively manage cash flow and assets in real time, and seek smart, flexible investment solutions.

ProfitX is issued and operated entirely online, without a physical card. It incorporates Visa's tokenisation technology and biometric authentication, enabling secure digital transactions while minimising risks.

The co-branded card combines investment-related incentives from SSI, including preferential trading fees and margin lending rates, with spending benefits from VietinBank such as fee waivers and cashback on selected technology and entertainment purchases.

Cardholders also have access to Visa’s promotional offers across shopping, travel, dining and entertainment.

The card supports Apple Pay and contactless payments globally.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, SSI CEO Nguyễn Đức Thông said ProfitX further strengthens SSI's integrated digital financial ecosystem by bringing together investment, payments and cash flow management on a single platform while maintaining consistent operational and risk-management standards.

According to SSI, ProfitX also marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between SSI, VietinBank and Visa. Through the collaboration, the three institutions aim to develop innovative financial solutions for young investors while expanding a broader ecosystem of financial services and privileges aligned with evolving investment trends.
