Sa Giang Import-Export Corp's Moringa Noodles Salad product had been named among the 10 Taste Innovation Award winners at THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 - the only Vietnamese product to receive the recognition this year.

Sa Giang’s plant-based noodle product, enriched with moringa, was recognised for aligning with growing consumer demand for functional and convenient food products, organisers said.

“This recognition highly appreciates Sa Giang’s innovative efforts,” CEO Lê Thị Diệu Thi told Việt Nam News.

“Being selected in the Top 10 from 3,590 participating products is not only a source of pride for the company but also contributes to promoting the image of Vietnamese food in the international market.”

Thi said the company believed the product attracted attention because it combined innovation, health-conscious consumer trends and Sa Giang’s long experience in the food sector.

She added that the exhibition provided an opportunity for the company to introduce its innovative product portfolio to international partners, explore export opportunities and track changing global consumer trends.

"Sa Giang has received positive feedback from buyers and visitors from Asia, Europe and other regions, with several partners expressing interest in future cooperation," Thi said.

She noted that product innovation would remain part of its long-term development strategy as it continues investing in research and development for value-added food products targeting both domestic and international markets.

Việt Nam is among the top five international country and provincial groups participating in THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 this year, with 172 exhibitors, according to the event' organisers.

They said that Vietnamese buyers accounted for 17 per cent of this year’s hosted buyers programme, reflecting growing sourcing demand and cross-border trade interest from the market.

The exhibition, the largest edition ever held, has expanded across all 12 exhibition halls and features more than 3,600 exhibiting companies from around the world. It is showcasing a comprehensive range of products including food and beverages, agricultural and processed agricultural products, food technology, and related products.

The event, which runs until May 30, provides the platform for buyers to source these innovations at scale before wider distribution. It is expected to generate trade value exceeding THB130 billion.
