Vincom Retail and Central Retail Vietnam have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to bring the GO! hypermarket chain into the Vincom shopping mall system for the first time.

The first GO! outlet under the partnership will be located at Vincom Plaza Đan Phượng, a new commercial centre in western Hà Nội scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026.

Under the agreement, GO! – the flagship hypermarket brand of Central Retail Vietnam – is expected to gradually expand to other Vincom Retail malls nationwide as both companies look to tap rising demand for integrated shopping and entertainment destinations in emerging urban areas.

The upcoming Vincom Plaza Đan Phượng project will cover around 25,000sq.m within the Vinhomes Wonder City urban area. The mall’s design takes inspiration from Bá Giang’s traditional bamboo flute kite craft village, featuring architecture shaped around flowing kite-wing motifs blended with modern urban elements.

Besides GO!, the mall is expected to host a range of retail, dining and entertainment brands including Galaxy Cinema, Xtep, Lyn, Som Tum Thai, Dookki, Jollibee, Funny Kids and Fahasa.

According to Central Retail Vietnam chief executive officer Olivier Langlet, the company aims to develop GO! Đan Phượng into a shopping destination tailored to local consumer demand while strengthening long-term operational efficiency for both partners.

Meanwhile, Vincom Retail chief executive officer Phạm Thị Thu Hiền said the partnership would help diversify the retailer mix and enhance customer experience across the Vincom mall network.

The cooperation comes as Việt Nam’s retail market enters a new growth phase, driven by rising consumer demand for integrated and experience-focused commercial complexes.
