The annual Vietnam International Café Show 2026 and the Vietnam International Tea Show 2026 opened in HCM City on April 16, featuring more than 220 domestic and international exhibitors.

Organised by Exporum Vietnam Co Ltd at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, the three-day exhibition serves as a venue for product displays, technology introductions and business networking, and for linking participants across the value chain, including raw material producers, roasters, suppliers, and café operators.

A range of activities, including Coffee Talk, cupping sessions and training classes, is being held alongside the exhibition.

Major coffee equipment brands such as La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino and Nuova Simonelli are being showcased through local distributors, while the presence of speciality coffee and tea regions highlights an ecosystem linking equipment, ingredients and craftsmanship, organisers said.

The exhibitions also feature the Vietnam National Barista Championship, recognised by World Coffee Events and the only national-level competition in Việt Nam with international certification.

The winner will represent Việt Nam at the 2027 World Barista Championship in Tokyo, Japan.

The inaugural Vietnam National Cup Tasters Championship was also held, focusing on sensory evaluation and flavour identification. The winner will compete in the 2026 World Cup Tasters Championship.

Other highlights include the World Bakery and Confectionery Competition, the Dalatmilk World Matcha Latte Art Battle, bakery contests and live demonstrations, alongside training sessions and masterclasses where participants can learn practical techniques from industry experts.

A representative of the organising committee said the event is expected to help improve professional standards, strengthen connections within the value chain and support the development of the coffee, tea and F&B industries in Việt Nam.
