Specifically, the two sides will consider the development of an integrated industrial, logistics, innovation and aerotropolis complex covering an estimated 17,000ha linked to the city’s airports.

T&T Group will also study upgrades to a stadium in the Cái Khế area under a public-private partnership model, while proposing an Olympic sports complex and a workforce training zone spanning around 3,400ha.

Both sides also aim to develop a renewable energy centre to form a modern, sustainable energy ecosystem, while exploring clean energy projects. High-tech agriculture will also be promoted through digital transformation and large-scale, value chain-based production.

T&T Group will also study urban and infrastructure projects, including Võ Văn Kiệt, Ô Môn 1 and Ô Môn 2 urban areas, as well as the Hưng Phú complex, while considering expanding aviation services and proposing international routes from Cần Thơ airport to boost tourism, investment and skilled labour inflows.

Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Trương Cảnh Tuyên said Cần Thơ is a strategic hub in the Mekong Delta that aims to become a modern, eco-friendly city and a regional centre for logistics, industry, services and high-tech agriculture.

He said cooperation with large, experienced corporations like T&T Group would help unlock new growth opportunities while ensuring sustainable development.

T&T Group operates across multiple sectors including finance, real estate, energy and infrastructure.
