The Vietnam Industry and Technology Week 2025 opened at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Hà Nội on Wednesday, featuring nearly 750 booths from hundreds of domestic and international enterprises.

For the first time, the five largest industry and technology trade shows have been brought together in a premium exhibition space, creating a platform for strategic trade promotion and connecting knowledge, technology, and the business community, driving forward the journey of innovation and global integration.

They include the CMES Vietnam International Machine Tool Exhibition 2025, the Vietnam International Industrial Fair (VIIF), the Vietbuild 2025 International Exhibition, the Vietnam International Cafe Show 2025, and the F&B Exhibition.

Lý Hoa Liên, deputy general director of the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Centre JSC, stated that the event offers businesses a chance to display and promote their latest achievements in mechanical engineering, automation, energy, materials, supporting industries, and innovative technologies.

The week reflects the strong growth and transformative ambitions of Việt Nam’s industrial sector, as it brings together five major industry trade shows for the first time, Liên said, noting that this creates a unique advantage for businesses, offering an inter-industry and comprehensive value chain networking space that no single event could provide.

The event also introduces smart manufacturing solutions, custom control software, integrated machine tool systems, electrical and lighting technologies, as well as innovations in energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and smart applications for living spaces.

Notably, activities of the event are interconnected, clearly reflecting the spirit of the National Strategy on the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

During the exhibition, the organisers and partners will also arrange over 20 activities, including a series of seminars, workshops, and specialised forums.

The VEC will operate a Business Matching area – a smart trade promotion centre that allows suppliers and buyers to schedule appointments in advance, explore collaboration opportunities, and hold one-on-one negotiations. It serves as a platform for building long-term strategic relationships and securing high-value commercial contracts in the future.

The week highlights the pioneering role of the VEC in creating a modern exhibition model that links trade promotion with the national industrial development strategy. The event also lays a foundation for establishing a prestigious exhibition brand in the industry and technology sector, contributing to economic growth, enhancing national competitiveness, and fostering sustainable development for the future.

The event will run until November 15.
