Cambodia exports over 596,000 tonnes of milled rice in first nine months of 2025

Cambodia exported 596,341 tonnes of milled rice to 69 destinations in the first nine months of 2025, earning $408.93 million, according to a report by the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF).

 

The export volume was achieved through 57 exporters, with Cambodian rice reaching markets across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and China.

Among the key destinations:

• 26 European countries imported 248,277 tonnes, valued at $192.04 million;

• China and its autonomous regions received 143,187 tonnes, worth $85.04 million;

• Seven ASEAN member countries imported 131,544 tonnes, valued at $67.14 million; and

• 32 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and other regions purchased 73,333 tonnes, worth $64.71 million.

In addition, Cambodia exported 5,247,992 tonnes of paddy rice through border trade, generating $1.2 billion.

The report shows that fragrant rice continues to dominate exports, accounting for 68.81% of total milled rice shipments. This is followed by white rice (16.18%), broken rice (10.13%), parboiled rice (2.44%), organic rice (1.88%), and other varieties (0.56%).
